beautiful.. hypnotizing..

but while I was rolling down here I began to think about the burning light. Maybe in English it's not about the light itself burning, but that the light is so bright that it burns into our minds and eyes, it burns a marking in our eyes. Look into a light for a minute and then close your eyes, you can still see the light as an abstract form. Now that effect is something you could try to represent!
But yes, in Finnish there's no justification for the form of the words "light burns"... ...

Sure the light burns...Even without flames...
Just put your hand on a 100W lamp that's been on for an hour or so :)
Haha, sorry about that...
Great shot though!

Great work with the negative space. How did you get such a long flame? I've never seen one as long as that that isn't 'too thick'

Also, is the light on? or is it just illuminated by the flame? Either way, I like that. Last question, was this like multiple shots put together?

I like the lighting, because I find it's 'non existant', like I don't see a lamp reflection on the light bulb, and I can't tell where the lighting is coming from, which is great.
